Private Training - Terms and Conditions

CHILD PROTECTION PRIVATE REFRESHER TRAINING

  • All course fees must be paid seven (7) days prior to the course date, or your course may be cancelled. Unless by prior arrangement, and at the sole discretion of Wave Learning, private training WILL NOT go ahead if a training invoice has not been finalised.

  • Your training requires a minimum of six (6) participants, and there is a maximum of thirty (30) participants per zoom workshop. If the total number of participants drops below six (6), it is the Employer’s responsibility to pay the full training fee for each cancelled student up to the minimum required participants.

  • We strongly recommend that children are not present during the workshop, due to sensitive subject matter. Some course content may not be age appropriate for children.

  • Participants must log in via the provided link a minimum of ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled start time, where they will wait in a virtual waiting room for the trainer to grant access to the zoom workshop. Participants who log in more than fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled start time will not be granted access to the workshop. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, and rescheduled training may attract further course fees.

  • Should a participant fail to attend private training without a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, their full course fee will be forfeited. Consideration may be given in extenuating circumstances, at the sole discretion of Wave Learning.

  • Participants must remain online for the entire zoom workshop, with their camera turned ON, for the trainer to mark them as having attended training.

  • Requests to cancel or reschedule your training date must be made in writing, and:

    • Cancellations within seven (7) days of your training date will result in forfeiting all fees paid.

    • Rescheduling requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to your training start time, or full fees may be forfeited. A fee of $25 per participant may apply for all bookings re-scheduled within seven (7) days.

  • Certificates will be issued via email and will not be issued where an invoice for training remains outstanding. For private group refresher training, one certificate will be issued with all participants names included.
