Enrolment Information

Information and evidence a learner may be required to provide at the time of enrolment includes:

  • Name, including first or given name(s), middle name(s) and surname or family name as they appear in an identification document

  • Contact details

  • Date of birth, as it appears, if shown, in the chosen document of identity

  • Place and country of birth

  • Gender; and

  • Any Centrelink benefits, medical condition or referral services, where this is applicable, e.g.to receive funding.

 

As part of Wave Learning’s enrolment process, learners would need to read carefully and complete some or all of the following:

  • Enrolment Form

  • Consent Disclosure

  • LLN (where applicable)

  • Enrolment Terms & Conditions

  • Privacy Statement

 

Smart & Skilled

 

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.

 

Eligibility criteria apply:

  • 15 years old or over, and

  • no longer at school or equivalent (excluding home schooled students), and

  • living or working in NSW, and

  • an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen

 

At enrolment, students are required to provide proof of eligibility for the Smart and Skilled Program as per the link below.

Notification of Enrolment process

 

As part of the Smart and Skilled program, the enrolment process is designed to ensure that all necessary information and evidence are provided before training begins. Below, you will find details of the Notification of Enrolment process and the enrolment steps you must complete.

  1. Wave Learning must first obtain the consent of the Prospective Student to the Department's use of the Prospective Student's information by:

    • the Prospective Student signing or electronically accepting the declaration issued to them in their student portal; or

    • the Prospective Student verbally providing their consent provided that declaration is recited to the Prospective Student or is made available for the Prospective Student to read.

  2. Wave Learning must notify the Prospective Student (and any relevant employer) of any Third Party Arrangement (including any Brokering Arrangement) where applicable.

  3. Wave Learning must use the Provider Calculator to validate eligibility, input details of any Credit Transfers or Recognition of Prior Learning and generate details of the Fee chargeable and the applicable Subsidy together with any Loadings (if applicable). Wave Learning must provide the Prospective Student with details of any Fee chargeable

  4. Wave Learning should generate and maintain a hard copy or electronic copy of the Notification of Enrolment Report – Provider Copy that can be referred to where the Fee and Subsidy is adjusted after the Commitment ID is issued.

  5. Wave Learning must confirm that the Prospective Student has signed or electronically accepted a declaration confirming:

    • all information provided by the Prospective Student to Wave Learning, in connection with the Notification of Enrolment Process is true,accurate, complete and not misleading in any way

  6. The Notification of Enrolment Process will be carried out simultaneously with Wave Learning’s enrolment process and must be completed before Wave Learning delivers any Training to the student.

 

Successful completion of the Notification of Enrolment Process will result in the issue of a Commitment ID.
